Yes. The condition is that water reaches the nail. Our breathable nail polish is water- and air-permeable; it does not seal the nail like conventional lacquer. All 41 shades share the same formula, only the pigments change. Whether that is sufficient for your practice is a decision you make with your scholar; many customers wear it daily and do not remove it before prayer.

No ingredients from pigs, no components from animals not slaughtered according to halal rules, no ethanol, no contamination in production. At Alhalal the Halal Monitoring Committee UK checks formula and manufacturing; in addition the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 applies. Halal is a certified audit process for us, not a label.

No. Halal does not exclude animal-derived ingredients as long as they come from halal-slaughtered animals; vegan excludes all animal-derived ingredients. Our lipsticks, lip liners and nail polish are both: no carmine, no beeswax, no lanolin. Lip balm, mascara, kajal and wax strips contain beeswax. Yes. In the EU animal testing for cosmetics and their ingredients is banned under Article 18 of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009; this applies to every product sold in the EU. Alhalal goes further and uses no animal hair: lashes and brushes are made from synthetic fibre.

Orders ship from Germany. Delivery within Germany takes 2 to 4 working days, within the EU usually 3 to 7 working days. Switzerland, Norway, the UAE and Türkiye can take longer because of customs.

Halal certification for cosmetics is a voluntary audit; the mandatory legal framework in Europe is the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
